I always find these "losing out" assumptions so strange. We hardly know a thing that goes on. |
But we do. Any figure quoted is taken as gospel, It matters little if there are numerous figures being bandied around - the highest is always taken as the truth.
It also doen't matter if a manager sates that the figure is not true - what does he know.

I can't believe so many refuse to accept the possibility we lost out on a player to Bury. Only 10k of us can be bothered to go to the games ourselves, we are hardly an attractive proposition and even less so for attacking players. | | | |
