£12 a ticket no excuse for people not to go

Poll: Would you like ITFC to sign Colchester's Kane Vincent-Young

I looked at going, saw it was £51 train ticket (that's even with my railcard) and thought I'd stick the £80 odd quid the day would cost towards me Cheltenham trip

Poll: Would we sell out our allocation for Wembley for a PJ Trophy final?

I would have gone but in Vegas that weekend. I blame Ipswich for not marketing the£12 game with enough warning so i could pre-book a nifty return as the price to fly back is now astronomical.

Almost as if those that wanted to go and wanted to go by coach had got their tickets two weeks ago when they went on sale isn't it?

Hull is a bit of a trek though. It's not £12 for the whole day out is it!

Yes, forget the travelling time, distance and associated cost, any personal arrangements you may already have and the likely attitude of MM to go up there and be happy to play out a dull 0-0. No excuses, the tickets are £12.

...and of course it’s typical of the club not to lay on an extra coach or two even if the demand is there

The 7 hour round trip is probably an excuse.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

If the demand is there they usually do.
It has said sold out for coaches for other games before and then coach tickets have gone back on sale if there is large demand-if anyone is serious about going then it might be worth them asking the club what the chances are.
I don't see why the club should be seen as being at fault if people are now thinking they might want to go two weeks after tickets went on sale.

Terrible excuse, no dedication.

1/10. Must try harder.

Does anyone know how many tickets the club have sold for the game against Hull?

There is if your partner is going on a hen do and you have to look after a sixteen month old.

I suppose I could take the little un with me but there will be people complaining if he even dares to cry for one second.

£80 odd quid? I thought this gambling was supposed to be a bit of fun?

I'm going to the actual meeting for the week though.

An expensive week. Not just betting.

The hotel was £418 for a start

Though for Cheltenham I always bet a high amount

Edit - Though perhaps I should offer to pay the hotel in alphabeti spaghetti and a packet of fish fingers instead?
