How can someone who has played 400 games failed at every club they have been at?! |
They do enough to convince another club to take them on, rinse and repeat. And a manager takes a chance on someone with a good pedigree.
Maybe fail was overly harsh, just not been very good at any of his clubs imo and certainly not in the last 5 or 6 seasons | | | |

Cotterill spent a lot of his career as a wide forward, almost 100% so in his early career and the first thing Mick said about Drinnan was he ‘could’ play wide.

That's ridiculously over the top. Cotterill was certainly a decent Championship player, not spectacular but decent, capable of a few goals a season and good use of the ball.
Whether he still is or his fitness has gone is another matter. |  |

Think there was some interest in him a few years back though. I know Russell Osman knows him well from his days as a youth player at Bristol City and I think he suggested him as a target to whoever the manager was at that point. |  | | |

Fewer than that, been pretty consistent from when he went to Doncaster in 2012 until the last year or so. HE might not have reached the level of early hype but hardly dreadful. | |

Is this really the level we are at ?
We have just pocketed a decent fee for Moore and yet we are sniffing around in the bargain basement , I would rather we brought our own youngsters through .
Please no more loans of players like Iorfa who is no better than our own Emmanuel .
