‘Those were the days’.... really? 09:10 - Apr 7 with 4929 viewsGodderz

Although I am sure this question has probably been asked before, but as someone who rarely checks the forums prior to the management fiasco, I did not see it.

My question is this: why do we have such a defeatist name for our club website? I mean it basically says our best days are past and now the best we can do is look back in fondness. Where is the positive outlook? I’d far prefer a name that focuses on the current affairs/ gives enthusiasm for a brighter future.

Good effort this. An authentic approach that may get a few nibbles. 7/10

I think you’ll find it’s called TWTD. It hasn’t been called Those were the days for ages.

Also, it’s a fan site - not the official club site.
There’s much more talk of cheese and FLA at www.itfc.co.uk (which actually stands for ItsTimeForChrisswailes)

FLA stands for It'sTimeForChrisswailes? Not sure how you work that one out.

As for the OP - Phil has said many times the site is now just TWTD. As the OP has only posted twice since he joined the forum (the first post giving def info that the Cowley brothers have already signed for us!) I guess he wouldn't know the history.

I hereby state I have nothing to do with the FLA.

When are the Cowley's being unveiled?

There was a secret presser on Wednesday after Mick left on Tuesday. The club only invited members of the Top Gear Gang to report on it. That's why the announcement's been so long in coming, they're quite slow readers and writers.

Christ go away for a few days and def info becomes total made up BS it seems. Still we're doing well to have Mick do yesterday's presser and today's game having walked out during his day off.

Jolly decent of him to do that to allow Pards and Meggers time to work with and fully assess the squad, I thought.

I'm almost hoping it's Colin so that we can see some impressive feats of explaining why Colin's prickery is totally different to Mick occasionally being grumpy in a presser and how it's actually GOOD, unlike that nasty man, Mick from Team Numbskull.

Ah that all makes so much sense.

Even though he's picked a slightly weird sounds like a sex-offender persona to highlight the fact.
