I'd take £1m for him. There are things I like about Garner but too many games pass him by when he's not on it and when he's not able to work the ref. If Hurst is keen to refresh our forward options I'd much rather Waghorn is the one we go all out to keep. He just has so much more to his game. |  |

What annoys me about this is the fee.....
I don't necessarily want garner to leave as I think he adds something to the team.
But the fee - we signed him for 750k and we're looking at getting back less for a player that had a decent season when fit, and also that Bolton sold Gary Madine for 6m plus - if that was us with money in the coffers we'd be charged a site more for anyone we tried to buy - yet we let a first team player or squad member go for 500k potentially?
