If they win a GE, businesses would be heading out of this country in the 1000s, they are anti business.

What do you think has happened since your beloved Brexit?

Well of course we will just win 450 seats, but I didn’t want to jinx it :)

Yes, I especially liked your very popular socialism-lite manifesto from a few years back. Hmmm.

Doubt it.

The UK is a large market for their products. If they don't play ball perhaps they shouldn't be allowed to sell here.

Time to stand up to the giant corporations.

If you live in the real world.

M. Confirmatory public vote — DEFEATED 268 to 295

Drawn up by the Labour MPs Peter Kyle and Phil Wilson and tabled by the former foreign secretary Dame Margaret Beckett with the backing of scores of MPs across the house, this motion would require a public vote to confirm any Brexit deal passed by parliament before its ratification

Yet gained more votes than May’s deal

Stand up to them, so they take hundreds of thousands of jobs away?

For what it’s worth, i don’t think businesses would leave, but they would reduce investment in some key sectors

So?

So?

It has received more support from MPs than May’s deal. If it was put on a head to head vote, it would win. We may see that next week

Lol come on mate, massive irony here. J2 is possibly the only person on this board that can debate both sides and can openly change his views based on facts. Compare that with your good self who simply makes things up or disappears when challenged on your views on Brexit.

Only good thing is that if parliament can't agree maybe it strengthens the call for a second vote.

May's deal versus remain.

This shows what a mess it is too. So much for the whipping of Labour MPs

563 voted. I believe 649 can vote.

That leaves 86. 86 is a bigger number than 27. You're also assuming that more won't agree in future when it becomes clear parliament will never solve this issue.

I will be voting Labour after the last fortnight. The Tories have been a disgrace. So openly self serving. They deserve a spell in opposition.

Several deserve a spell in an oubliette. About forty years should suffice.

20 of May’s cabinet ministers were forced to abstain of course too.

A tit for tat war isn't a good idea but if we can be bullied by corporations it's a bit sad.

If you could choose a Conservative government and May's deal or Labour and remain which would you choose?

The latter as Brexit is more damaging than Corbyn ever could be.

I’d also never vote Tory, but still.
