It used to be a common occurrence for me and a few of the other players to sleep at our changing rooms fresh from the nightclub in order to be ready for Sunday morning football. On one occasion practically the whole team were there some decided to try and mark the pitch out and set the goals up when arriving around 4am. During the carnage of that I decided to mark out THE BUSHEL are SH*T is massive letters across the field near the changing rooms. Upon completing it the police arrived and read what I'd done and made us retire for the night. The game played etc the next morning but years later a friend of a friend refused to talk to on a night out, it turned out he was playing for the bushel that day and never got over my welcome message

It got me as far as Florida Boutross - even by non league standards that's an unlikely name. I think I remember a crossword compiler who was sacked and his last puzzle was a big f-off to the editor
