Ah, so Labour tried to stop the broadcast of Panorama last week on 17:50 - Jul 10 by GlasgowBlue

If they tried to stop it as an opposition party how far would they go if they were in government?

Thankfully it looks like we are in the dying days of the Corbyn project.

I can understand why you quote a right-wing journalist, and I can also understand that your political view means that you do not like Corbyn's policies, but I also know that you are an intelligent chap.
Please explain to me (as a layman) why you think that a historically (aspiring) socialist party should adopt a policy of antisemitism, and why it is not more reasonable to identify this as a crude attempt by the right-wing press to divert attention from the Conservatives?
Apologies if this has already been explained and I missed it.

I can only assume you have been living on Mars for the past three years and have not read any of my posts.

The "Oh Jeremy" thread is a good place to start and Sprucey has kindly bumped it up the board.

A question to you though. Are you suggesting that the EHRC, Board of Deputies, Three main Jewish Newspapers and the Jewish Labour movement are involved in a crude attempt by the right-wing press to divert attention from the Conservatives?

Milne & Formby accused of blocking internal party investigations

Milne just looks like a wrong un to me! The sort of face you expect to see in an idetity parade, not steering a party.

Edit - sorry, ignore as it’s been flagged already.

I wasn't suggesting anything. I was merely asking a question.
Apologies.
I had seen the thread headlined "Oh Jeremy" but had so far failed to open it. I guess I need to take a look.

However, to answer your supplementary question, my honest answer is I really don't know! But it could be possible (could it not?) that the BOD and the Jewish media you mention have made it difficult for the EHRC to ignore.

I'm probably out of my depth here. Just trying to understand. What generally speaking is the political leaning of those three newspapers?

EDIT I just went back to the "Oh Jeremy" thread and there's 30 odd pages, much of which I suspect is noise. Couldn't you just summarise it in a couple of sentences?

You'd think these allegations of bad journalism are so specific, either Labour is right about them, or the bbc is. Do you think the EHRC has the definitive untouched original data?

The clip of him on Iranian TV just making up that the Israelis had killed those border guards. How is this man fit to be an MP let alone leader of Her Majesty’s opposition? It’s so incredible you want to chuckle then you remember how serious and dangerous the whole thing is.

Well, either virtually all of the pre-Corbyn complaints team are making this up to smear Corbyn or the leader's office doesn't care about anti-Semitism.

If and when Panorama runs a similar probe into Conservative Party Islamophobia, then I MIGHT doubt that this is a hatchet job. Never any doubt that the Beeb is seriously infected with Corbyphobia.

The AS is clear and deep rooted that’s clear and has been since he took office those individuals looked frightened and I fear they have made themselves targets for the hard left racists. But imagine as well the party of the workers and workers rights having 2 former senior staff openly saying on national TV they had been driven to a breakdown and considered suicide that is shocking and deeply upsetting. I am lost for words for that type of culture to be present in 2019 let alone within the workings of the Labour Party.

So all the labour members they interviewed just made it all up? The TV clips of Corbyn and his cronies displaying blatant anti semitism are fake? The actual labour MPs admitting the own party is anti Semitic are lying? Seriously mate, wake up. Unless of course you think the whole thing is a Jewish conspiracy?

Yep that’s right it’s a hatchet job you should be ashamed of such a response.....who rounded up the staff for BBC interviews probably the Israeli embassy would be my best guess.

This is the thing. One either accepts what they are saying as eye witnesses to the events or calls them politicised liars fabricating the events, or as Labour calls them "disaffected former officials".

If it's the former then the only conclusion is that the leaders office doesn't care. If it's the later then what evidence will one accept? Pretty hard to see what further evidence could be provided which would persuade people with that attitude.

So according to Today Labour have launched their defence which is essentially the people speaking from the disputes team are anti-Corbyn.

That's a stock answer that can be used for anything without any actual evidence. The chosen defence hasn't seemed to go down too well.

Decent Labour MP’s coming to their defence.

Somebody in the Labour press team had the balls to put this up before it was taken down very quickly.

What’s not being discussed are the Jewish Labour members who were close to tears as they recalled the abuse they had suffered at various branch meetings. I’ve been posting loads of similar examples for years.

At least three of those people were really young and some of them spoke about how they joined the Labour Party having been enthused by Corbyn.

The official labour reaction is basically a green light to their outriders to dogpile the whistleblowers. Once that has happened Corbyn will come out with some mealy mouthed words about “not in my name”.

I've been saying for a long time that JC is dangerous and vile. I get rebuked on every occasion.

JC is a danger to the country. It's as simple as that.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
