From a team that played a lame Douglas for months on end, nothing this club does seems strange anymore.
Kieffer Moore on 10:00 - Nov 17 with 2671 views | hampstead_blue | Did he do anything in particular to cause MM's ire to be pointed his way? If anything he's proven to be another Mings, not quite Ming's level but. Lost talent given a chance and has taken it with both hands. He's had a few moves since coming to us. Is he hard to handle?
| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

I saw a but if their first game this break. Bale beat 3 men and put a cross on the middle of his forehead 5 yards out and he missed.

I think at the time Mick said it was because the fans weren't going to give him a fair shot. Back then that seemed like a reasonable explanation to me, but in hindsight it's a bit unlikely. Mick played Douglas for an entire season even though nobody rated him.

Some cr*p joke about Beattie will be coming next, Joe. To which BB will still think it’s funny.

If that was a legit quote that came from MM's mouth, he's even more of a pr*ck than I originally thought. Comes across like a spoilt child.

In fairness my memory had put more emphasis on the fans than Mick did, but he certainly seemed to think it was a factor. “He trained with us yesterday and his head’s not really here, that’s for certain. He was hardly well-liked or loved here, I remember the crowd cheering when he headed a ball at one stage when he was here.” I was always a huge Mick supporter, but it seems to be lost on him that he set the tone for the antagonistic relationship with fans. A bit of lip service would have gone a long way, as we’ve seen with PL. Can’t help but think the fans would have been more patient with someone like Kieffer if they’d had a better relationship with the man who signed him.

I think that's harsh. The quote from a BBC analyst was "He's unplayable in the air, on the ground, not so much"
