Why are people so angry with that performance. 16:54 - Jan 1 with 4292 views | Terry_Nutkins | Much much better. Garbage bit of defending/keeping cost us the 3 points. We were much better then them at their place. It wasn't vintage but the performance and effort was decent.

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 17:21 - Jan 1 with 1855 views | Plums | Needless humping the ball up field when we clearly have the ability to play through this team but don’t even try apart from the odd, brief passage of play. Ugly, pointless, unsuccessful football.

Disagree. I think more often then not we tried to play. Wycombe punted it every ball and we had to deal with that which meant clearing it. Whenever we had then chance though we tries to play.

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 17:35 - Jan 1 with 1820 views | peterleeblue | I don't see many games so my opinion is limited. However based on today. 1. We were the better team and should have won 2. Created 3 great opportunities to win the game 3. Flynn Downes seems very accomplished. 4. Our forward line can be a handful 5. Defensively reasonably solid. Wycombe's first hoof up to Akenfenya aside. 6. Not sure if it was the pitch but our passing needs to be crisper and more assured. Overall we seem to lack league 1 technique. Hoofing when not under pressure and then trying to play in our own final third and giving the ball away. The other things is in tight scruffy situations the other team seems to buy the free kick from the ref .We need to start being able to do this. The fact that 11 games without a win and we are still well in the mix (albeit with half the division) shows how poor everyone else is. For me the main challengers will be Oxford, Coventry and Portsmouth. Sunderland may yet get there act together. I am not sure Wycombe will stay the course. All to play for as they say but we really do a need a couple of wins asap.
Why are people so angry with that performance. on 17:38 - Jan 1 with 1816 views | Keaneish | Thought it was much improved and we looked comfortable until Norris’ howler again. Had the better chances and on another day we could had three. We need to move the ball quicker at times and spot the runs of Norwood and Judge better but happy enough with the performance despite not winning.

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 17:52 - Jan 1 with 1780 views | BlueForYou | It's just dumb to say oh it's only Wycombe etc. We have to roll up our sleeves & battle to win these games. I thought the 352 looked very good today, I always like it. We're a work in progress at a very early stage. Wycombe should have scored in minute one, we should have equalised later in the half. Akinfenwa made a big difference, but our midfield seemed to go missing? We need a midfield dynamo to dominate for 90 mins, & strikers that can score from really good crosses. Oh & a defence without calamity. Still a long long way to go.

We're a work in progress at a very early stage? We're in bloody January and we're still unsure of first choice 'keeper, preferred formation and preferred starting XI. I agree with you that we are - but we shouldn't be.

Lambert has had 14 months now and we're no closer to having a clear way of playing.

And he has a long contract now as well, after overseeing relegation with a whimper and squandering a seven point lead over the 3rd place team. Feck him and feck Evans.

I think what we saw today is our way of playing and will / should be moving forward. Play out from the back and patiently build. Possession based football. Can’t argue with that as a rationale given we’re technically far superior to any other side in this division. If we stick with that side and utilize Sears, Bishop and Keane from the bench, we’ll be back on track.

Yet more not respecting the sides in this league. You perfectly illustrate why we've been dropping off. No respect of sides from management, players or fans until today which was far better. Some of us act like all we've got to do is show up. Wycombe are top, we aren't.

My post was clearly in dismay of where we find ourselves and I can confidently say it had no bearing on today's result. You can't tell me you're happy. It's ok to be pissed off sometimes.

I'm not pissed off tonight. We were much better today, carry that into Accrington and we'll be alright. But the sooner we all wake up to the fact that this is a tough league to get out of, the happier we'll all be.

Ok, let's go with that. The Championship is also acknowledged as a difficult league to escape from. As is league 2 if you happen to be one of the clubs stuck down there. Sure, we pull together and hope for the best, obviously.

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 17:00 - Jan 1 by Ryorry | We had 61% possession & 5 shots on target. They had 1 shot on target from which they scored due to Norris' error (according to reports by others). If Holy doesn't start on Sat, I'll be wanting an explan of why! |
Out possession stats fail to point out that it's mostly us knocking the ball sideways between the defence

Yes where we are is frustrating and it is ok to be hacked off sometimes. More positive performance today. Long way to go. 3 more, on paper very winnable league games next and then 3 tough ones. I thought we would get 7 out of the last 9 though so let's see...

Why are people so angry with that performance. on 19:35 - Jan 1 with 1584 views | FrimleyBlue | Positives for me over the 90 minutes in general. There were some iffy moments for those below but overall felt positive about them. Jackson Downes Garbutt Edwards Wilson I felt all others were absolutely shocking tbc Woolfy and chambers couldn't pass the ball or deal with balls down their throats Judge. Huws were awful overall. Norwood... Not good enough for his level ( cracking goal mind) We have a shell of a good team but need some proper players in key positions again.

Huws was ok. Judge was very good 2nd half I thought. Really can't see how you could say awful. 710 for me.
