There is a world of difference between playing well, finishing 3rd and losing in the playoffs versus finishing 8th due almost entirely due to management incompetence.
Lambert is not a new manager ‘learning’ and ‘developing’. He is an experienced manager doing a good job of looking like he is forgetting anything he ever learnt.
Entitlement is expecting ME to pony up more and more money to fund our hobby. Entitlement is not expecting one of the most bloated (and wage heavy) squads ever to grace Division 3 to be competitive after the manager has had over a year and 3 transfer windows to improve things. |  | | |

Completely agree, if we had maintained a settled style of play all season and lost in the play offs it would be very different.
Once teams worked out that they didn't need to show us any respect our form has dropped off significantly.
IMO we have six players that would walk into most League One Teams:
Wolf
Downes
KVY
Garbutt
Huws
Jackson
In addition to them we have Nolan, Norwood, Keane, Dozzell. All talented players, especially at this level along with Sears and Bishop to get back to fitness.
Anything other than top six is a catastrophic failure - further compounded by the loss of advantage we had after our excellent start.
5 year deals should be irrelevant, he would have failed to meet our basic primary target. | |

They're both in their second year here (albeit Pompey had a season down here during their decline too). Both did better than us in their first year here as well, genuinely fighting for automatic promotion, making the play offs. | |

We are in the third division and look like we will finish mid table. We have won 4 games out of the last 22.
Supporters are perfectly right to expect us to finish in at least in a play off position in this league, and we should certainly let the Manager and owner know it is not acceptable if we fall short of that.

I will seriously consider not renewing if we start next season in League one with Lambert in charge. I know many others who feel the same.
