Whilst we don't know the finer details of this contract, we know it'll be cheaper to wait until the summer. However, 4 wins in 26 in this league? The excuse that was used in the Championship during tough times was our inferior budget, we don't have that excuse now - we're the equivalent of one of the parachute clubs vastly underperforming.
If we lose both today and away at Bristol Rovers, I reckon Lambert will be sacked. Surely there's a benefit to giving a new manager the last few games to get a better idea of the squad and what needs to be changed ready for next season? Whilst Evans has failed to invest sufficient money in players, he's made big investments in managers. Which is why I don't think Lambert will be here in 2 weeks time. |  |

If there is an actual fail to make the play-offs break clause, he wold be able to activate it as soon as mathematically we are unable to make it. Even if that meant paying him the last few weeks of the season, it would be inevitable and so he could not argue with it.
I think he will be gone by the end of the season. If he isn't I would expect him to be here at the start of the next one. |  |
