I'm actually done.

It really doesn't matter anymore. Too much of a majority, too many happy to just accept this piss as acceptible.

Thanks for absolutely nothing, Boris.

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

Struggling to think of many times The Mail have gone in this hard on the Tories though. Feels like this has upset a lot of people, and not just us decent folk that would never countenance voting Tory in the first place.

He has to go and dragging this out is degrading the minuscule piece of reputation that Johnson still had. It cuts through well beyond the usual political stuff. People have made huge sacrifices for the good of the country in the last few months - missed funerals, last minutes with dying relatives - and the government treats them with contempt.

Don't forget the Sunday Times piece either:

But he won't go unless there is a cross party appeal to the Crown to step in, and I do not think this matter, appalling as it is, is serious enough for the Queen to be persuaded to step in.

Cummings won't be sacked because he's the current Conservative Party's brain. Without him, they are lost for direction.

It would also be taken badly by some (but not all*) of the hardline Brexiteers, given he is credited with winning the vote in 2016.

* Cummings has feuds with Farage and some other leading Leave campaigners, as well as a number of Tory MPs.

I think it's mainly cummings himself who credits cummings with the brexit 'victory'.
