The culprit appears to have been identified on Twitter, (initials JH). Normally trial by Twitter is not the way to go about these things, but he appears to have identified himself (on Facebook) and is unashamed.
If it is the culprit, it doesn't look like someone who didn't really know what they were doing, it looks like a follower of the far-right.

In all fairness, it's not a massive leap of deduction to work ou that white supremacists would have been behind something openly white supremacist.
