I thought he did OK today but I don't think he is anything better than an average League 1 standard defender. Adequate cover if needed but nothing more. He has more appearances than I realised so actually adds some experience as cover.
As with all players, a lot of it is how they work with the players around them and having a good understanding with the left side CB and midfielder makes a big difference. I wonder how often he has played with whoever is in those positions when he has played. |  |
