I would say sorry about what happened and move on if we could establish what "our side" is meant to be apologizing for.
I'm not accepting the accusations of right-wing ethno-religious nationalists though. Maybe get "your" nutjobs in line, take the party political and Middle East agenda out of it, and then we can work out what is legitimate.

But the quote is asserting that Corbyn's political focus is equality. I'm sure that he would agree with defending Jews from hate crime but there isn't the equality and systemic injustice aspect that's central to his politics.
What does Murray's quote say that disagrees with that? The idea that antisemitism didn't matter to Corbyn as a form of racism only comes from the sentence that frames the quote, not the quote itself. |  |
