Sore from a hefty strength session yesterday. Looking forward to a squat session this afternoon.
Apart from that, quiet in rehab and furlough land.
P.S: The chilli and tomatillo plants are cropping nicely.
Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
I am enjoying some relaxation time after a difficult year that I feel lucky to have survived so far with KJ still alive, after 2 weeks in hospital with COVID back in April, although it was looking very dodgy at one stage, my business still alive, although it was looking very dodgy at one stage. My sanity is still intact, although that was also looking dodgy at one stage...
So I’m certainly making the most of our break in Turkey... I tussled with a unicorn yesterday, which sadly, the unicorn ultimately won... Altho it is now dead.
I’m lounging by the pool, having just reached beer o’clock, the sun is shining, the WiFi is dodgy so won’t even bother trying to watch ITFC v West Ham to spoil the afternoon... what’s not to like?

I’m very well thank you.

You have certainly had a hell of year.
I'm glad KJ is good, and the business is still going tho I'm not sure about your sanity!!
Not sure from the video I saw tussled is quite the word I'd use!! poor unicorn never really had a chance
Enjoy the beer and the sunshine, you are missing a cracking day here

Honestly Keno, I'm pretty fed up at the moment.
Home working is starting (understatement) to grate, I've not been to a gig since March, no music festivals all summer, lots of other gripes too, and no sign that any of this will change in the coming months. I'm a pretty positive chap for the most part, takes a lot to get me down, but 5 months of this has achieved it.
To compound it, I've got this week off work, and the weather forecast is pretty dismal. Hence I am on here.....
Start writing a book, based on your attempt at making it big in the music business.
Then do stuff that not only makes the book good, but pushes you on towards that new goal. Lay down some kicking beats and chugging baselines. Set up a gig in your street and spin those tunes to the neighbourhood cats. Even if it doesn't lead directly to the big time, it could provide a funny story for the book.
Then when gigs start happening, take them. Take those chances, do those things you might've held back from but would make a good anecdote for the book. make notes all the time.
Rinse and repeat until Steve Lamaq picks up your banging choon and makes it a hit.

Keep your head up buh, better days are ahead of us I'm sure.
I know the feeling though, I booked some live music tickets for next summer, more in hope than expectation but I just needed it in the diary!
Bit worried - got an ongoing problem with my foot and once more filled in a form for doctors to be referred to dermatology. The doctor has just called and said I am the third person she has spoken to about this problem in the last few months. This doctor is normally horrible to me and has made me cry before in the surgery but totally different on the phone. I find it worrying as wondering if this foot thing is related to corona in some form. I have heard of Covid toes but it's not that.

I hadn't heard of Covid toe, which has freaked me a little as I had a weird blister the other week!!
Mine is (I am 99% sure) a horrible condition called palmaplantur pustulosis. I have had pomphylx on my palms over 4 years now but at least get a few days respite from them. This foot thing has spread. It itches, blisters, bursts, pinprick marks them crusts over.
Dermovate is the thing most doctors would use, but that WORSENED mine, and was the thing that spread it and burnt through 3 layers of my skin.

That sounds awful! I hope that cyst does not play you up in future either.

I'm pleasantly tired, a bit of muscle ache but nothing troubling. All down to climbing Bruach na Frithe yesterday, my first Munro in almost two years and my first one after a fall on a hillside that had me hospitalised for eight nights.
But also feeling slightly guilty at starting a thread and then leaving it after half an hour, because I thought I would never attempt that mountain if I kept responding on this forum. A couple of terse responses I had given to Libero and Pinewood niggled at me a bit as I climbed up the uneven paths and scree, but it was a mainly sunny day and I needed to keep my attention on the surface under my feet so I just put that out of my mind. Got back to the house and made dinner, looked at a bit of coursework and sent off some photos of my view from the top before thinking 'Oh well, I had better see what kerfuffle is going on on TWTD' only to find the thread had been pulled.

I wouldn't worry about it - you're one of the last people on here that I can imagine giving people the hump.
And your "terse responses" are nothing compared to most on here, you daft tw@t.

I think both you and I should both be thankful we’ve been spared the banhammer for as long as we have! Constant sniping and badgering... #feelnoguilt
