Sweet Jesus. Why is this absolute gammon still getting jobs on TV and why is that useless waste of spunk Nigel Farage still on TV.

You wish to ban a word that was used in a racist attack, it was a quote from the victim repeated by the reporter, it was needed to stress the nasty racist side of the attack.

The F and C words are fully ok if they are required in the context of the discussion, if they make you blush perhaps you should get out a little more.

But the BBC news manage not to repeat those if they're reporting, for example, MP's receiving verbal abuse.

What's your actual issue here?

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Does this mean that Banksterdebtslave will need to change his user name?

Thanks for your concern....of course I fekkin don't.

Debt slavery cares not for race or gender identities, it is all inclusive.

I'm just curious for knowledge. Why is the 'n word' OK but the 'F' or 'C' ones not? The latter in particular carries a whole ton of baggage..

I have a degree of sympathy with the BBC Production and Editorial teams who made the decision to include the "N word" in that specific case.

The family of the victim asked them to quote the words the attackers used in full to demonstrate beyond doubt that it was a racist attack.

But the BBC then had a white journalist saying those words. They should have either asked a family member to read a statement, or asked a black BBC journalist, or even a black studio guest, to read it.

And it should have been post-watershed only.

The less airtime that disgusting word gets the better, under any circumstances really.

But yes, as you say, as a direct quote, please after the watershed only.

Enough kids seem to think the word has an acceptable use in a certain context as it is.

What does the left control?

Many people seem to think that people disagreeing with their views equates to them being "cancelled." And in the odd cases where someone has been fired for airing a point of view (Farage at LBC after comparing BLM to the Taliban) a private company is within their right to terminate an individuals' employment if they feel they are damaging their brand. Unless you think that shouldn't be allowed, which is very authoritarian.

So glad you're here to explain to us what should and shouldn't be offensive to people of colour. Don't know what we'd do without you, Gary.

Do you know what, I found this out at school. Black kids really didn't like the term when it came up in a lesson once.

I stopped the whole thing and went off on a tanget about how "it's just a word" and as a society we attach meaning to it and that's what is important right? Playing Devil's advocate.

The kids with African and Carribbean heritage both had similar views that even me saying it then and there in any context upset them and most of them didn't really like it even in the music/films they consumed. But it was a strong sense of "their word" and very much white people shouldn't say it.

You saw fit to wade in and say a Black man had been discredited because he'd taken offence at the BBC using the N word. Perhaps you should wind your neck in, Gary?
