I think George is as fit and well now as he has been for a few years or should i say that was the impression i got about 10 months or so ago . George would often walk to the ground on match days along the Norwich rd and was often very chatty to fellow fans ,he is a lovely man and enjoys a bit of bantor . I impression i got was that he does not hold out any real hope of returning to football management . |
Passing conversation couple of months ago still passionate about Town, still looks about 30 years younger then he is, still a hero to me, starting talking footie and what is going wrong, lost me early doors but then don`t do football manager, but I did manage to thank him for all the great times both as player and manager.
