Rumours... 13:12 - Dec 31 with 9925 views | bluelagos | About a party involving 19 Premier League players held before crimbo, including one who hired a jet to fly in for it. If true, the sh1t is going to hit the fan big time. Watch this space...

Rumours... on 13:24 - Dec 31 with 7614 views | pointofblue | Who does Walker know at Fulham? Loftus-Cheek from the England squad, Onomah from his time at Tottenham perhaps, but I can’t see anyone else? Mind you it only takes one person to pick it up and pass it on.

Rumours... on 13:39 - Dec 31 with 7458 views | snudge27 | The sh*t will hit the fan, but what will actually change? Even if they end up fined the maximum £10k each (I don't recall any footballers having been fined so far?), that probably works out to less than 10% of their weekly wages, so won't have the least impact on any of them. If you take the ethics and morality out of the equation, it probably seems like a good deal to them in terms of the cost of the party. It's the equivalent of someone on minimum wage paying about £30 for a night out. The fines desperately need to be set as a percentage of earnings, and those in high-profile positions need to be made examples of.

Rumours... on 13:41 - Dec 31 with 7435 views | brogansnose | Didn't Kyle Walker get caught out in the first lockdown for inviting some ladies round for a 'get together.' If this does turn out to be true then serious schizzle should come their way over and above paying out for costs incurred by the clubs, officials and staff.

If true, and the games have been called off due to players breaking the law. The clubs involved should have be made to forfeit the fixture. Not sure who Man City were playing, but that would focus the minds of the clubs. On your last point, I guess the club can fine the player/s 2 weeks wages. which will hurt a bit more than £10k.

I agree on your last point, but it's still a drop in the ocean to them. When you're earning £100k+ a week, you can much more easily afford to lose two-weeks' wages than someone on minimum wage. Imagine only taking home £115,761 as opposed to your usual monthly take-home of £230,595... (and that's assuming that, in this example, the player in question isn't engaging in any sort of scheme designed to reduce their liability for taxation...)
