I don't think anyone believes the latter. I think most people believe that the current manager has failed to get the best out of what's a very good squad by League One standards for 18 months now and that someone else would do a far better job of it. |  | | |

Whereas once Lambert has gone Evans will take an interest in the club, appoint a manager with a set up that begins to rebuild the club and ensure there is the funding to back that plan.
Or simply blame the one who happens to be currently occupying the chair
As that way it allows so many to delude themselves that somehow we are being cheated and Evans mismanagement has not been the cause.

Not entirely sure it's fair to bombard them with emails. The editor will run a headline if he feels it's the right time, not them. Usually papers run those sorts of headlines when they know the manager concerned is already all but out of the door.
And I don't think media coverage will make much difference to ME's thought processes.

I don’t think “LAMBERT MUST GO” needs to be headline come Monday because as you say, that won’t be the determining factor whether ME pulls the trigger or not.
However, why do the journos allow Lambert to stand there and let him tell us week after week after week that we’re “really good”, and not turn around and say no, everybody watching knows that right now we are “really really bad”.
Ask him what he’s doing to change it, ask him why after 3 years there is still not style, no organisation.
That would be truly asking the questions the fans what answered. |  |
