Evans has probably spent all season..... on 12:34 - Feb 9 with 1176 views | Bloots | ....lobbying the PFA and EFL trying to get it overturned. Rather than concentrating on dealing with the problems we have, which would mean we don't have to worry about it. This is probably true.

Potential salary cap news? on 12:38 - Feb 9 with 1130 views | Woolfenthen | I think the principle of it is correct, but how they have applied it is totally wrong. You cant restrict every club in the same way it's ridiculous, but perhaps the purpose of it was to get the ball rolling so to speak. Far more discussions were needed to push this through, thought out very poorly.

The stupid thing is that there was nothing wrong with what was already in place, namely a salary cap based on percentage of turnover. It was just a move by the smaller clubs just to try and bring bigger clubs down to their financial level

Potential salary cap news? on 13:55 - Feb 9 with 851 views | PhilTWTD | Asked Lee O'Neill re the salary cap and the arbitration process on Friday (he didn't know much about the latter). Was planning to use later in the week but just in case events overtake us I've done it now: O'Neill: Summer Will Be Real Salary Cap Transition 9th Feb 2021 13:51General manager of football operations Lee O’Neill says the summer ahead will be “a real transition” from a salary cap perspective if the Blues are still in League One with the cap set to impact the club more significantly than it did this season, although with rumours suggesting it could be scrapped following a recent arbitration hearing. 13

I've never a been a lover of that kind of competitive enviroment, it's almost a race to the bottom. When the Premier League is moving in the other direction, all the clubs in the EFL are doing is making the PL dream more unachievable by increasing the disprarity in leagues. Makes it sustainable, but what is sport without hopes and dreams?
