... nothing different to what we already know, other than the end is hopefully drawing nearer.

First we've heard of potential Evans and Lambert talks yesterday though

SO TODAY COULD BE HIS LAST GAME, YEY!

I genuinely have no idea how he's been allowed to remain in charge for today's game.

Even if it wasn't going to be a longer term thing, imagine having Dyer etc in charge today, the atmosphere would immediately be different in that dressing room

I just can't see how we're going to see a performance from anyone today as it is

It's absolutely baffling, I cannot believe Evans still expects him to get the players on board for a game, given his behaviour this week.

Madness.

Exactly - get it done. In reality, we'd get the same result if Megaphone man was in charge

We're just pissing games away. And the discontent amongst the players and fans grows deeper and deeper. Both of those combined make any new manager's job that much more difficult with every day that passes with Lambert still here.

Yeah, I've never understood the reluctance from Evans to hold off until we have a replacement. If he's decided Lambert's time is up, wheres the harm in having a caretaker for a couple of games.

Hopefully Lambert will get given the team sheet at 2pm, and he won't be named as manager.

That'll just be people reading more into the Nolan/Jackson spat than is perhaps merited.

Well quite. I know Evans has had form for not pulling the trigger quickly enough, but letting a dead man walking carry on in his job for over a year, a year in which we've continued to be terrible, is really setting a new bar.

I hope that's not true. If he really met with Evans yesterday and he is still here, he hasn't been sacked. Our nightmare continues.

Exactly.

Bin him off at 1pm and we would still do better today whoever picks the team, it would just lift the weight from the team.

I do, Evans is still utterly clueless about football. Jewell had to resign Evans was so reluctant to sack him.

Sadly I think he's even had enough and retired the mic, things have got that bad.
