Man City 21:45 - Feb 24 with 1463 viewswkj

Pains me to say it, as I have a deep hatred for Man City going back to the Weaver vs Wright days for England - but they look the best left in the Champion's League this year.

They make football an art, beautiful to watch. The only team I've ever enjoyed watching as much was Guardiola's Barcelona.

I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton

As a paid up member of the UK Gladbach fan club, I’m finding tonight quite disappointing. We haven’t laid a glove on them.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I've only seen them once this year and they were awful (and had been for a while apparently based on what people said on here). Funny old game.

A couple of months ago the EPL was so refreshing so many sides pushing for that top spot, Man City struggling for form and now they are on this terrific run and look immense once again, it’s all become a one horse race for the title. I agree, I think it’s going to take a very decent side to roll the Citizens over, are Bayern their only real threat in Europe?

My dislike for citeh goes back to Gerry Gow and his first minute assault on Muhren.

They've been insane lately. Playing incredible stuff.

Is that 19 straight wins? It takes us 2 seasons to achieve that figure.

Quite staggering really - It was a really lovely game to watch.

I live in Greater Manchester, my wife is a City season-ticket holder, as is her dad, brother and uncle. For 20 years they have been trying to get me to join them, but so far I have resisted in favour of trudging off to Championship and now League 1 grounds to watch Town. Am I loyal, mad or simply deluded?

I've had no love for them since 1981, even the free-kick was a dive by Dave Bennett.

Their success has been built on an endless supply of money.

Unfortunately I think that only Bayern Munich can stop them this season in the European Cup.

Pretty much all sides achieve their success through spending power. You can count on one hand the number of times in the last 40 years that the top flight has been won by a team that's not been consistently amongst the biggest few spenders in the league. In the Prem era it's probably only Leicester, and that was a bit of a freak season and they still invested pretty heavily in that squad.

As much as supporting us is painful at the moment, and for the past few years to be fair, to support a club that is bankrolled the way they are just takes the fun out of it, most City fans I know talk about the Gillingham play off win in far more emotional and glowing terms than Aguero's last minute title winning goal.

My uncle who has now passed away was a life long City fan. He used to get free tickets dropped through his door by the coaching staff on a Saturday morning - which was great when we were visiting and Town were playing. When the takeover happened, he stopped accepting them as they hadn’t earned the right to the acceleration in their fortunes. He never went again until the day he died.

Fantastic achievement by Guardiola to reinvent a team after last season - not many managers can slide back and go again like he has done. Will Klopp be able to with Liverpool?
