I've taken a look at his win ratio, which is 1.52 and he prefers 4-2-3-1.
I know this may for some be a ridiculous idea, but should we be aiming higher on the back of a new possble new owner? What about Eddie Howe - is it farfetched?
Is it more about the project and backing rather than the league position?
I hear you, but what you want and what you get can be very different things. When Howe is being spoken about in terms of the Celtic job, I can't think of any reasons why he would want to throw his hat into the ring for a currently middling division 3 side with a recent history of many, many problems. If Howe had been out of work for an additional 12 to 18 months, he may have wanted the work. I think we have to accept who we are and where we are at this moment in the clubs history.

I'm fed up of these posts now
Me too.
Wtf is wrong with people? We've finally got rid of Lambert, we need to rejoice, and look forward to a potentially very exciting times, with a manager who most clubs would want.
He's been successful, everywhere. And we have some moaning he's not up to it.
Christ on a bike.

Christ on a bike would certainly be more fun.
But not sure about the practicalities.
Still, gotta be better than the one just shown the door.

This is why I rarely post — to much sarcasm and aggression!!!

Not really sure what kind of response you expected? The initial post is silly, for instance, Cook's win ratio is over 40% for over a decade which is very good. What difference does their favoured formation make?
Eddie Howe?
People seem to have forgotten we are 8th in L1. Heaven forbid we get a manager who has won the L1 or L2 three times.

Point proven and this will be my last post.
I'm sorry but you can't post something as ridiculous as your original post and not expect a little banter
For the record I don't think it's a case of us having to aim higher , it's a case of us having to be realistic . I'm sorry if that upsets you but that's the truth
Along with the the below endorsement, my view is that we're a tier 3 team in a state of flux, not even in a play-off position and with question marks over our future ownership structure..suggest Eddie Howe might not jump at the chance
"I loved Paul Cook, great brand of football. Real character and a football person.
Went to a few fans forums when he was speaking.
Really gets fans and the club.
Used to play for us in the 80s.
Look at his track record, improved every team he has been in charge off.
