I think a fans representative on the board, one that switches regularly through a fan vote to prevent vetted interests embedding, would go a LONG way for communication and keeping us happy.

This - Norwich have been running kids training courses all over Suffolk including some in Ipswich, where they kit out all the kids in NCFC training gear.

Not far off! If you go watch the Mets here it's not actually that pricey.

Not sure where that’s lifted from but it certainly wasn’t that cheap when I took in a Mets game a couple of years ago, beers were in double figures and most food was too. In fact a quick Google seems to support that Citi Field has the most expensive beer in the whole of MLB
Completely agree that the quality is on a completely different level to football in England though, as is the case with any newish stadia in the US in my experience (Superdome in NO and 49ers old stadium at Candlestick are a different story...!). Ah I did a quick Google and didn't check my dates. Wasn't able to get out to Citi Field last year obviously. Mikkeller had a brewery on site two years ago (now closed permanently) and their prices were really pretty reasonable. My point really was that considering alcohol prices in NY, in stadium prices aren't that much more expensive and like you said the quality is of a far higher standard than at PR!
Hoping to get to a few games this season as baseball is the only sport I actually enjoy over here. If you're looking for value, Coney Island Cyclones are a Mets feeder team and that's always a fun and generally cheap afternoon or evening out. | |
