Chocolate Biscuits 17:37 - Mar 4 with 1669 views | wkj | I haven't had a cup of tea in 6 months, been slamming back the coffee (Been in Arizona trying to broker a deal for some property in suffolk) Now I'm back in ol'Blighty and can get a nice cup of builders - I need to be reminded of the best choccy biscuit. I am prepared to accept a risky dunk too... [Post edited 4 Mar 2021 17:37]

No it’s great, well as long as the tea is not like dish water!

Hob Nobs, schmob nobs. No proper biscuits are made of oats. Oats are fit only for horses and scotsmen. Fig rolls are lovely, but not a dunker.

No, expresso and all coffee related drinks are all awful. And when I make tea I put the milk in first - there’s no difference whether or not you do it the ‘proper way’ or not.

Chocolate Biscuits on 18:45 - Mar 4 with 1156 views | WeWereZombies | 'Been in Arizona trying to broker a deal for some property in suffolk'? Would this property be mainly grassy but with some facility on each side that allows the grassy bits to be looked down upon while seated? Just forget the chocolate and settle for all butter shortbread fingers - the fat content will help wean you off Ranch sauce and Pop Tarts.

Tea an awful drink? You really need to look in the mirror and have a good word with yourself. It is the stuff of life. A return from abroad, a cold football match, anything and a decent cup of tea is an absolute must. Strong, no sugar. Fortnums is the nicest but Sainsbury’s Red Label, Aldi Diplomat or Yorkshire - all good. Biscuit: no dunking. It doesn’t work and should be made punishable with a long prison sentence. A chocolate digestive alongside, not touching the cup obviously, is the perfect biscuit. With a couple more as back up if needed. If heresy has descended on your house and you don’t have any, a chocolate bourbon or even chocolate chip cookie will do. Sorted. The end.

He's a funny one that Matt. One day he's talking complete sense and then on another he comes out with that. 3 cups of tea in the morning before anything else for me. Shortbread fingers go well but tend to trip you up when it comes to dunking. You dunk the thing once and it comes out still too hard. Dip it in the tea once more and from nowhere it breaks and falls into the cup.

How do you take your tea? That is the question. I have actually started taking my tea milk and have never enjoyed it with sugar - after a couple of weeks it didn't really taste much different to me.

The shortbread biscuit is a lovely thing, but not dunked under any circumstances. The digestive has to be dark chocolate. As for the tea, best made with filtered water, the milk goes in after its brewed.

I still stick with bourbon for chocolate choice however a jammie dodger is also a winner on the non chocolate choice.

For shortbread fingers one long slow dunk and you will find that nothing matches them for consistency, and sated you will have no desire for a second dunk.
