It wasn't awful. Don't be dramatic.

It really wasn't awful. There is lots of work to do, especially in attacking play, but we stopped them playing when they got on top, and worked our way back to get a point.

I'll take that on 20:58 - Mar 9 with 741 views | SomethingBlue | Just about, yes. Bits and pieces of encouragement but the lack of confidence — and total absence of movement & patterns of play — in the final third is absolutely chronic. If Cook can instil just a bit of that we may yet have a chance, but it needs to happen quickly.

I don't think it necessarily was. We just showed no invention or ambition in the final third. It's not as if we tried everything and nothing came off, we seemed terrified to pass forward.

In the context of the past couple of seasons it was not ‘awful’. There were better bits and quite a lot less worse to watch - mostly in the first half. Still too sloppy and break down too often in the final third. Dozzell gives the ball away too often. Norwood is not a lone strike and Bennetts and Edwards have no end product. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
I'll take that on 21:00 - Mar 9 with 697 views | JDB23 | I'll take that seeing as it looked like we wouldn't score from open play in a month of Sunday's. Not a very good performance overall but some improvement second half with Lincoln dropping off. Keeps us in the race but Cook still with a lot to do.

Yep we really lack something going forward. For me biggest threat was Bishop having the ball in advanced positions.

Absolutely, I've mentioned the issues in the final 3rd a few times tonight on here and twitter, and this has been an issue for 3 seasons now. Suspect this is why Cook has made a similar triple change in both games, to try and inject something in that area. Obviously some time on the training ground would help!

First half I agree was fairly awful, but we looked much more organised once Judge came on and matched Lincoln beat for beat.

I must be really missing something. I expected a difficult game tonight given that Lincoln were 10 points ahead of us & looked a good side in the first half (despite having 3 regulars out injured). We really didn't improve much, although we probably deserved a draw after a scruffy second half. Not Cook's fault, but he has a huge job to make Town genuine promotion contenders next season.

Oh without a doubt. Evans AGAIN did the right thing far too late. What would cook's loans have been (or signings)

True, and with respect to Bishop, who is more talented than any of us could dream of, his runs rarely come to anything.
