I would think that 99.9% of players want nothing more than to play football.
I don't understand when people accuse players of effectively missing long periods by choice.
1. They enjoy playing matches.
2. It impacts their career and potential future earnings if they are out for long periods.
However, I suspect 'The Cruncher' is just happy to have hooked Matt Holland.

Although I don't suspect KVY is in this camp, what a lot of our players forget is Ipswich in relative terms is a very small place. People talk and rumours spread. When players are injured and are then out seen clubbing and living it up in Town, playing Golf, and all the rest they make assumptions that the player isn't as hurt as they have made out and they tell their friends and the rumours grow. This has been made worse by social media. |  |

Yet still the podcast pulls viewers in.
It frustrates me that our fan base buy into it. Constantly answering pleas for donations, constantly buying awful low quality "merch" the show being propped up by 3 buffoons that all seem to have a purposefully different opinion to create argument. Call any of them out and people are shut off.
Everything about it is extreme cringe but according to the host they attract thousands of views and a good chunk of money.
Short-sightedness seems aplenty, the recent campaign to burn a poster of an ex manager in aid of mind charity was a particular clanger from them. Say anything that doesn't follow the narrative on the comments and yiu will never get on screen. Quicker the audience ditches the sh1t show the better off we will be from the better quality and more reasonable content available | | | |
