Is Lankester the answer? He’s not really pulled up any trees this season. He’s just not been the same player since returning from his back injury. I really liked what I saw of him during his debut season, but I do worry if that injury has had a bigger impact on him than we all realise physically and mentally. [Post edited 25 Apr 2021 7:04]

Difficult to pull up trees when you have your arms strapped to your side. Which effectively what playin* with this lot must be like.
We have to trust PC, aided by anyone at the club he trusts, will be able to identify the wheat from the chaf and not throw everything away. |  |

Almost certainly. Top teams don't lend out top talent without a guarantee of a certain number of games - if we don't meet that there'll be a penalty clause plus the word gets around and loans become much harder.... What we should be doing is getting the one off player as per MM (like Lawrence, Celina) that we couldn't hope to obtain otherwise, not collecting the seven or whatever we have now - arguably none of which improve the team. |  | | |

It's hard to judge based on the infrequent starts, he looks more like he'll end up being a centre midfielder now
He seems to have a goal in him, perhaps he'll have to drop down before he works his way back up
