Imagine if Lambert was a good football manager.

That's interesting because he got this supposedly rubbish team to the verge of the playoffs so either they are not a rubbish team or he overachieved.

Why in the ever living fook are we still playing McGuiness?

I think we may want him again next season or we want to keep Arsenal sweet for another reason.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

They are what they are a division three side. Anyone can beat anyone in this league as has been proven. Since the announcement of the takeover and I'm assuming players knowing if they have a future here or not many have downed tools so to speak which is understandable hence we are where we are. Lambert was given the tools to get us out of this division and failed.

This.

Think we'll see him again. Cook obviously rates him, and likes his attitude.

Norwood.

Edit - and the vast majority of his goals have been in non-league, not the Football League. He's not scored anything like 150 goals in the Football League.
[Post edited 1 May 2021 14:48]

Norwood scored the vast majority of those goals at Tranmere and Forest Green between League 2 and the Conference - the Conference is professional standard. I said, "professional", not "Football League".

The Conference isn't a professional league. What's all this 'professiobal standard' nonsense? You're looking desperate. There's a reason he's played non-league for most of his career. It's because he's not very good at football and has a poor attitude.

I can't believe he's captain. It's actually quite annoyed me.

It's a stroke of genius.

Or brilliant trolling.

Or both.

I have a very good feeling about Cook and hope this works out for ITFC, and at least some of our players.

It might not be recognised as professional, but you might want to have a look how many sides are full time in the National League.

Forest Green and Tranmere are professional clubs. Therefore Norwood has scored his goals at professional standard under a professional contract. So painful...

What do you think you've helped with here? I'm well aware there are professional sides in the National League but it's not a professional league.

Who said it was a professional league? I said the Conference is professional standard as in there are professional sides in it with professional players on professional contracts. On that professional contract, Norwood scored most of his goals as a professional.

So tedious.

1-0 to the pub player. Not a good day for you.

You talking about you or Norwood as the pub player here? Hard to tell. Weird flex over a penalty in a dead rubber against the second worst side in the league.

Two for Norwood playing at professional level (in case you were unclear of his standard).

I’d move away from your keypad now, this day’s going from bad to worse for you. Pub player on a hat-trick...

In a dead rubber, against the worst defence in the league. Really weird flex. Norwood has been disappointing here and is not what we need to push us forward. A couple of goals in a nothing game against an already relegated Swindon doesn't change that.
