Whether he is on £800 a week precisely is unknown, but he is on a cheap deal, and will be comfortable enough being 3/4th choice.

As mentioned the other day, not really an issue with him remaining on that basis for another year. Need at least 1 more top L1 level striker in though.

It's clearly total guesswork given the contracts are confidential between the parties.

You'll get analysis paralysis if you keep over-analysing anything you can get your hands on about ITFC.

I didnt create the OP. So not sure what your problem is tbh.

In my reply I said the figures may not be right.

However it's entirely plausible that players bought in our last champ season would be on more wages than some who had contracts extended following relegation or the years after. I dont see why it wouldnt be plausible for Jackson to be on a low wage considering he came from league 2.

Think the KOA lads were saying 750 to a grand a few weeks ago... hence low risk squad filler

No it doesn't. Drinan is hopeless I'm afraid.

No one said the Drinan figure was wrong. However the "evidence" for it linked is clearly totally flawed and therefore meaningless. That is what has been clearly demonstrated but never mind. You carry on in your doubling down on it.

He’s got to improve a lot to be worth a place in the squad. And maybe he can and/or maybe different players around him will help. Just got to trust PC and his coaches on this, despite how little we’ve seen from him so far.

How do you not get bored with picking out the same posters and just trying to pick fights.

The post clearly by Klug is to point out how Drinan is a low cost backup striker and why his contract got renewed.

If he wants to believe the figures as they are. Let him. You can still have a discussion on his OP regardless if you believe the sites figures or not. Or if you dont. Ignore the thread. The poster and concentrate on a thread you want to actually contribute to.

For someone who bemoans others leaving the site due to not enjoying when all you do is ruin peoples threads my popping in ignoring the discussion and just poking immature fun at the poster. You mention drink. If you ain't drinking its time you grew up mate its embarrassing

I've not been a big fan of him.
But letting time pass since his contract renewal and speaking with some wigan fans and with PC having worked with Moore I can assume he sees something similar there to work with. If it comes off brilliant if not then it's not that expensive.

You're sticking up for the bloke calling other people Muppets.

You choose to ignore that though, which is very convenient, and it's obvious why. You just wanted to take a pop at me.

While we are asking rude questions, here's one for you. Don't you ever get bored of posting non stop tripe on here? I know you act like this is the Official ChrisMakin Forum, and that you own it, but it's not and you don't. So hush now. You have nothing to say I'll ever want to hear, so please save me the bother of having to reply to you again. Ta x

Nope I'm happy with my level of contributions. Stuck to what people requested in regards to level of new threads and reduced overall thread participation. So no I'm happy thank you.

I'm not sticking up for Klug. Im simply trying to understand why the need to not contribute to a person's thread apart from to discuss their drinking habits. Bit odd.

I'm sure you are. And let's be honest, you ever only want people to contribute in a ChrisMakin Approved and Sanctioned fashion. You don't actually want real responses.

Finally, just to be clear before I go and enjoy my Saturday evening, you're fine with posters calling other posters Muppets so long as they agree with whatever poorly thought out point you're trying to make, but if a poster doesn't agree with you they have to just shut up?

No wonder you're driving people off here. Before ChrisMakin - now TWTD. Night!

Nope. I've not condoned anything and I dont think its right to call people muppets no.

And real responses? What 2 contributions from you both drink related snipes. Thats a real response..? Bit strange.

As far as I could see all klug said was " if you dont believe it fine but I do" or similar. Your contribution to the thread following that was about him drinking. So why you're bringing muppets up I'm not sure as he didnt call you one to get that reply.

I didnt create the OP so nothing to agree or disagree with on my part in this thread. So entirely upto others if they wish to agree with the OP or not my contributions contained questions regarding player contracts. Which you excellently provided a simple 'no' reply to so thanks for your answer.

So yes enjoy your evening. Look forward to seeing your contributions tomorrow on chrismakin twtd.

Do people actually believe these type of sites?

I have to say I am confused by this site. How does something turn public domain when GDPR is in place?

Unless I am missing something and the clubs make this information public- which I have a hard time believing.

Something is in the public domain if it is published legitimately by a data controller processor. For player wages I think this happens infrequently nowadays but in any case, it remains your data, not public data. That may be subtly different if you are the Prime Minister or someone who is in a post with a known level of reward.

Your salary is covered by GDPR and is fairly sensitive information, however the risk of harm to you (the data subject) from processing/storing or further sharing is negligible given that the information/speculation is already “public”.

However, if you (the data subject) were to contact them to ask for it to be removed/made accurate they would be obliged to do so. Maybe that is why Troy Parrott doesn’t appear, he/Spurs are on top of their GDPR game.

As a hobby site, I expect salarysport.com have given this limited consideration but may be operating within the roolz. They will have a legitimate interest statement which may be full of holes but unlikely to be tested in a meaningful way.

Is it personal data or a collection of wild speculation and opinion? That may also be relevant.

GDPR is often not followed and certainly not well understood, and I include myself in that statement. This does allow the well informed to make a pretty packet by advising those who need to understand and apply the regs.

That’s enough professional advice for this time on a Sunday morning and I reserve the right to Edit after more caffeine.
