Either way we have way too many fans who are expecting instant £5m signings the day the transfer window opened……….. kids these days have zero patience, we have been promised signings this summer and lots of them, unlike the previous regime under Evans of “got to sell before we buy etc” we aren’t in that position this year and I fully believe what is coming out of the owners………. It's all well and good saying trust the process, but Cook has already forced the situation. Either we get many more players in or the club and Cook are left red-faced and have to backtrack on their statements to players at the end of last season.

Just building on this point of only 11 players so 9 needed.... we do have a month as we should keep reminding ourselves! to get the 9. THANKS GOD with Harper that looks to be 8!
Its interesting to look back to last early August in that we field TWO teams against Col U given the bloated nature of the squad:
Wright, Vincent-Young, Ward (Smith 57), Nsiala, Woolfenden, Skuse (McGavin 57), Bishop, Huws (El Mizouni 45), Dobra, Edwards, Drinan
Przybek, Donacien, Kenlock, Chambers, Ndaba, Downes, Judge (McGavin 68), Dozzell, Lankester (El Mizouni 62), Sears, Jackson (Folami 59). Subs: Smith.
That was really a squad of 21 senior players ahead of the new campaign (i've ignored some of the youngsters who played). So two friendlies actually needed.
We now have: BURNS, Donacien, El Mizouni, EVANS, Holy, Ndaba, Nolan, Norwood, Nsiala, KVY and Wolfenden... and hopefully HARPER
