He is by far and away the most clued up and respected journalist in UK and beyond. Boris refused to be interviewed by him prior to the election and LWBF TW4TDers were unanimous in their support for Andrew Neil and quaffed at the fact that Boris would not dream of being challenged by such an intellectual journalist.
Then something changed that they didn't like. |

Strange one that. I watched a bit of it on launch tonight and have seen a few twitter clips since. I was never expecting to agree with their views, but it was really substandard. Technical faults all over the shop and loons like Dan Wootton spouting Covid conspiracy theories. Even their so called balanced debates are a joke. I saw one with Farage, Tom Harwood, a Tory MP and Claire Fox as the token lefty, despite her having much more in common with the right than the moderate left.
As for Neil, despite his personal views, he is clearly a talented interviewer and broadcaster. I'm not really sure why he's associating himself with the likes of Wootton and Dewberry, who are clearly substandard. |  |

I was obviously semi-joking in my tweet, but the serious side is that no top-class journalist would allow themselves to post anything for public view that was so poorly written + either not proof-read at all, or was proof-read but the author was too incompetent to see the poor standard of English therein.
