Uparrowed by mistake. I think yours and WD19's theories don't hold water when we're still in June.
I know some seem to want to believe Cook's a bad man and/or useless but the most likely reason Dobra's back in the fold is he's shown the right attitude in some way. I don't see why it's necessary to look any further than that. | |

Cook bemoaned no-one coming in for extra training/gym work shortly after he arrived, so if you were a player wanting to impress the new boss then you wouldn't have to be the brightest to see this way would be an easy win.

Dobra has been on international duty. Isn't it normal for such players to be told that they may have an extra few days leave before reporting for pre-season? Perhaps Dobra has declined the extra days off and his enthusiasm, coupled with decent performances for Albania U-23s, has impressed Cook. This suggestion is, of course, pure speculation. | |
