It is precisely because of the ongoing racism and the attempts of people like the Tory referenced in the OP to shut down opposition to racism that it has not run its course.

No, I think they just don’t go over the same ground time and time again like some people on here do. At the start of the tournament the England players decided they would take the knee before games. Some people said they would rather they didn’t do it, they said they were going to do it anyway, the people who would rather they didn’t do it just got over it.

Don’t feel sorry for us Paz, we’re able to enjoy the wins absolutely, safe in the knowledge that we’ve given the team 100% support throughout and aren’t just jumping on the bandwagon now they’re succeeding having booed them before the tournament started.

If it is not having enough of an effect then why bother. If it's divisive then it's doing more harm than good. I'll be totally honest here and say in my everyday life I don't see a problem with racism in this country.
