The title of the video oversold it a bit. There wasn't much in the way of England fans clashing with riot police. More like a few bobbies watching some drunken antics and occassionally escorting the daftest ones away.
But yeah, I see your point, they do well to not react to the baiting must get right up their noses.
Not condoning the behaviour in any way, particularly as it could have caused a broken neck, but that dump tackle around the 1 minute mark was quite something. Never really understood the need to fight, lived with a guy at uni who would get himself into a scrape nearly every night out we went on. Can't count how many times I've had to play peacemaker. Moronic.

They're trained to let drunk people fight it out, and nick the last man standing, unless it's serious violence.
Most of the 'fighting' in that video was as effective as the Colin Firth/Hugh Grant fight in Bridget Jones.

Another thing, if I was a copper, I would be afraid of England losing on Sunday. I really hope not but I can see it kicking off in towns and cities around the country, should we lose.

Far from it. I was in Paris for the Euro final 5 years ago the night France lost to Portugal. Stayed just off the Champs Elysee and it proper kicked off that night, sirens going all night.

I watched Holland v Spain World cup final in Amsterdam and it was tear gas all over the show after the game.
I don't think some people travel much.

Absolutely.
Never seen the police use whips in the UK as happened in Nigeria at a viewing park, when the police moved in to restore order. Was an African nations match and it was all going a bit mental - and that was after Nigeria had scored. Christ no knows what it would be like if they'd lost.
