Just based on Twitter and the viral tweets.. there seems to be quite a vocal section of society now (obviously it’s still a minority) that are massively against the covid vax.

Which got me thinking.. do we have any on here? Not people who just don’t want it but the nutters who are protesting against it or very vocally against it. Would have thought we would with so many posters per day on TWTD but I can’t say I’ve seen any.

Peace and love

I do think people should remember though that there are some people who are scared to have the vaccine for various reasons. I'm not talking about the conspiracy theorists but people who have serious concerns about it and it is affecting their mental health. I'm lucky and have no concerns and have been fully vaccinated.

I have to take some fairly meaty pills to tackle my OCD and often wonder about the long term affects of those. But then I remember I'd be bvggered without them in the here and now, so take them and get on with life.

Obviously others are perfectly entitled to feel differently, but sometimes, you just have to take the plunge.

I hear you there brother, I too take several drugs each day that prevent me having another stroke that in all probability are causing damage to my liver, however it’s a risk I feel worth taking if it gives me another 30 years (I hope)

What would have been the long term effect if nobody had had a Covid vaccine anywhere in the world?

<Satire Mode On>
What are the long term effects of solar panels on your roof? BRAIN CANCER IN 30 YEARS MAYBE!!!!!

What are the long term effects of lithium batteries in your pocket? TESTICULAR CANCER??? NOBODY KNOWS!!!

What are the long term effects of Walkers Max Jalapeno Cheese flavour crisps? NOTE: not just any crisps, but specifically that flavour: how will eating one today effect me in 30 years time? NOBODY KNOWS, DO THEY??? NOBODY ATE THEM 30 YEARS AGO SO WE DON'T KNOW HOW THEY EFFECT FERTILITY/BRAIN CANCER/etc etc etc.

I can have a modicum of respect for Anti Vaxxers who have been long-term, organic-only Vegans, as there is consistency there. Anti Vaxxers who smoke, or drink, or do drugs that have been cut with who knows what, or drink Zero Sugar soft drinks with Aspartame in, or eat ultra-processed food, are low rent Lawrence Foxes, contrarian, culture warriors who are desperately seeking relevance in a world that they find slightly bewildering, because they do plenty of things which are known to damage their long-term health but choose vaccines as the one to make a fuss about.

And, just like with Brexit, they are doing Putin's job for him.

Hmmm, not sure there is any correlation between anti-vaxxers and vegans.

I disagree. Both will have told you they are in the very first conversation.

I've got a customer who is massive anti vax and goes on all the marches. He is an intelligent guy but is adamant against the whole thing.

Got another friend, well he's an ex school friend who I saw last month for the first time in years, he is away with the fairies. Vaccinations, 5G, you name it, it's all a conspiracy.

Personally I couldn't wait to get vaxed and I was worried about RKD when he seemed to be putting it off (since jabbed), but here's the thing...........We live in a free country and although in my opinion they are wrong and they are potentially putting others at risk - although ultimately they are putting themselves at risk - my thoughts are that they are entitled to their opinion.

If in 10 years time the only people who are living with good health are the ones who refused the jab then needless to say they had the last laugh.

As an honest person I have a possible downfall inasmuch that I generally believe what I am being told. I do still have the "Question everything" attitude to a degree but the older I get the more I just accept things, or hopefully just realise that what the greater good tell me is the way to go.

Oh and by the way, when they mention Thalidomide it's very easy to say to them that things have moved on and we know what we are doing now but I'm sure the Thalidomide victims parents were being told similar.

As i say, I am 100% for the jab but let's not demonise everyone here.

Any grandparents about? Would I want my little mini Lucans jabbed? I think it's an overwhelming no from this Grandude - what about you?

Let's not put all the antis in the loony bin eh?

Although I do appreciate the internet people win these days - how dare anyone question something? I mean, whatever next?

Pretty astonishing really. You're more likely to get ill from standing close to a microwave than the frequencies that BluTooth operates on.

The frequencies are the same - hence the potential fears over Bluetooth. You can boil a small glass of water by surrounding it with Bluetooth devices and using them.

The reduced risk is due to the intensity not the frequency. Nobody is likely to be using 8 Bluetooth devices simultaneously in close proximity to their brain. However, the long term effects of using them in close proximity to the brain and other organs for long periods of time are being studied thanks to significant numbers of the population choosing to do so.

There should be no risk from standing close to a microwave due to the filters in the door and the casing of the oven. Of course, a damaged casing/door may present some risk.

Quite understand both perspectives.

No debate here probably because of the echo.

Who is in the right? Time will tell. Maybe...

Take care everyone.

The old "two opinions, so they must be equally valid" fallacy?

Because the covid "vaccine" is very different to the previous ones.

What are the long term effects of the covid jabs?

you don't die of COVID seems to be a pretty much guaranteed long term effect

The ‘other perspective’ is heard, but it is flat earth nonsense and treated as such.
