The main 'pass' that Cook has at the moment is that he's basically built a squad from scratch having basically binned off a whole other one, whilst burning a load of bridges and not getting result, which was a massively high risk strategy.
But that only goes so long. If we're still bumping along like this come mid-September then we need to take a good hard look at him. | |

Indeed. I am very patient as well you know - but I did say last season that Cook can't start this year with much of a free pass. I would say if we have no wins by September, then Cook should be fighting for his job every week. [Post edited 17 Aug 2021 22:35]
