Not that I would expect him to say otherwise.

Steve, you're better than this.

It doesn’t get better than supporting anti-racist stances, so Steve hasn’t got room to be any better on this issue.

You missed the point, as did many. Teams up and down the country do this week in week out without need for sound bite media rationalisation. It’s a non news worthy point as it’s a matter of course consistently in all leagues.

When does this Mick love affair actually stop? It’s really perverse and in the new era of ITFC, why do the main MM advocates feel the need to salivate over anything MM related still? Isn’t it a little bit weird!?

You'd think that someone who defended PRP to the hilt like he did would probably learn the wisdom of not airing his 'different' opinions. Or at least be prepared for people to mock them.

I’m trying to work out what makes you a bigger wally, and it’s one of these three:

1 - collaborating with Bluetit (a well documented t*at)
2 - lies about my “backing of PRP” given my post history and objective view point after every game
3 - your lack of attendance at any games outside of iFollow yet consistent tedious quips.

I’ll extend you the same courtesy as I did Bluetit; if you want to meet for a pint Pre-game to chat football, happy to do so. Don’t come on here casting aspersions and nonsense though, especially not to ingratiate yourself to that Chris Sutton selfie picture taking sham fan. Ill advised at best.

I will be honest with you here I typed a response to this when I read it about an hour ago but I deleted it because it didn't feel right and your behaviour is worrying me. I was going to mock your bizarre claims and rants but I am worried about you reacting like this over a stranger on the Internet. I considered offering support over PM but I am not sure that it is a good idea to engage with you on a less filtered platform, i dont wish to engage or provoke the obsessiveness further.

Please can someone help keanish here and offer some support, we all rip each other but there is also a line of compassion when that appears to be overwhelming someone.

That’s a bit of a silly post.

It’s possible to agree with what someone has said without being in love with them. Like many former Town players and managers, many will be interested by what Mick has to say by virtue of having a past connection to the club.

You’re being a bit of a dick.

He breaks into a cold sweat when he sees the M word. He's not got over the trauma of getting things so badly wrong in terms of the managers he slated and those he backed. I think he'd benefit from some therapy to be completely honest, it's not healthy to still be this triggered more than 3 years after Mick left.

I’m not actually an MM advocate, it was completely right he was squeezed out, the vast majority of fans wanted him gone, and his football product was not only unwatchable, I think it caused long term damage.

BUT, he was the best manager under Marcus, he’s a great man manager (see comments from Williams) he also glued things together off the pitch during Evans general incompetence. He got us to the play offs.

However, the point here is about taking/booing the knee, and Mick’ s position deserved praise!

Moving from the misguided and delusional, to constantly abusive and dishonest. Add in the about turn after actually going to a game and the ensuing hypocrisy and it’s as weird as his collaborations with another stalky type on here who’s always augmenting threads.

Even when ignored and his abuse goes unanswered for months, if not years, he’s one of a handful who persist. I think you might be right here. I’d suggest letting him continue spouting his nonsense to the wall fella. It’s kinder than indulging these rants.

He did. He also delivered a wonderful eulogy for a Barnsley legend. It’s very telling he inspires such vitriol from a certain type and the football angle is always revised into fairytale stuff.

A certain type? Please describe. Also please remember after 5 years he took us to our lowest finish in 50 years.

What's that got to do with his morals? Nothing, but as ever it's used by the entitled, emasculated and morally repugnant to excuse their abuse and childish tantrums. Let alone their haughty football purism and need to constantly revise and deflect.

That type?

The ones who said Jack as we got relegated and continue to stay down here, even applauding it and lauding the inferior managers and owner that oversaw it? That type?

BFJ took us to our lowest finish before that too but it never gets mentioned. We were never relegated to division 3 under Mick

And even in that season he outperformed our budget. Amazing that people are still trying to use that season as a stick to beat Mick with given everything that's happened since.
