Weather today not doing us any favours 07:24 - Oct 2 with 1590 viewsgtsb1966

Sounds daft but a heavy sodden pitch where the ball doesn't move so well and winds won't help us at all. Could be a leveller or even advantage to them.

Absolutely pathetic, it was p1ssing down Tuesday & we won 6-0.

Lucky it isn't at home then as it will be far wetter and windier here.

With all due respect, we''re playing Accrington bloody Stanley, not Ajax.

As a striker tho you love wet weather. Snap shots galore.

Also will suit our quick slick passing over a long in air battle.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

A heavy sodden pitch where the ball doesn't move? Its not 1982 anymore, and we aren't playing at The Baseball Ground, or as it was known 'Derby Beach'

Bit weird to be pre-emptively getting the excuses in. The conditions are the same for both teams, we should be the better team today.

Our fans have always had an odd obsession with any little thing which might make winning a bit harder.

Look at it the other way. With our attacking talent the conditions does the keepers no favours. I see it as an advantage.

Truly impaired.

First two words of the original post sum it up “sounds daft”. Correct it is a daft post.

Dear oh dear, I rally hate posts like these.

It's like you are looking for an excuse as to why we may not win before a ball has been kicked.

If we don't win today we will have either underperformed or Accrington play outstandingly well and maybe have a player who does something special.

It will be nothing to do with the weather.
