First 6 episodes are exceptional television, really really good. Last 3 aren't as good, few pointless moments including the VIPs, the front man storyline.
Korean TV/Film is superb at being able to question society, especially the rich without making it cringy or forced.

I’m watching it and it’s ok. Lots in common with Parasite which was a recent Korean film.
What I would say is I am AMAZED at the number of kids in my sons year 5 class who have watched it! |  |

I stumbled upon Squid Game and thought it was actually going to be a weird game show like Floor is Lava or Takeshi's Castle. Once it started with the English dub over the top I was already too hooked and too lazy to change it.
I always go for subs usually so it was a bit of a weird throwback to watching things like Akira and Cowboy Bebop for the first time. Can see why it is jarring for a lot of people but thoroughly enjoyed it and at some point will rewatch it with subs. |  |
