Playing penney further forward is no different to playing Fraser there who admitted its new to him where as Penney has indeed played further forwards previously.
It's interesting how you view it considering we have a wingback playing further forward on the right in Burns. | |

A bit harsh, but then I re-read it and it is a little bit rubbish. My first thought was this sort of stuff could wait until the morning. It’s hard work to think about optimum positions at this time of night!
(fwiw for the OP, Celina is great on the left, Aluko may well be ok as he’s a good experienced player, and Fraser seems able to buzz around anywhere behind the striker. It’s all ok. Nothing we really need to be worrying about. Especially now.). |  |

Honestly, you've disregarded a quality winger because you mistakenly think he has no end product, you've ignored another winger because you've decided he's a number 10 when in reality his whole career has been on the wing and then decided rather randomly that the best option for that position could be a defender.

Virtually everyone saw Burns as a winger who could play RB if needed. I don't actually remember anyone thinking he was a fullback first and foremost. You can't rewrite history to suit your bizarre narrative.
