Tomas Priskin (half Tommy Miller, half Tamas Priskin) might actually have made a good player. I'd have Millers upper body (for nous and timing those late runs) and Priskins skillful legs.

Very unfair.

When he first joined no one could criticise his effort. He was awarded seven consecutive MOTM awards in a period where he did everything but score lots of goals. I remember Keane being roundly booed by all four stands at Portman Road and chants of "You Don't Know What You're doing" when he subbed Priskin.

Kee mismanaged him and never played top his strengths. Sam goes with Jewell.

Towards the end of his time here he was completely disillusioned and couldn't wait to get out of the place.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

He was a skilful player who would create more than he scored played correctly, but like you say, he was never used correctly, and once he didn't produce and the fans got on his back, that was it. Confidence shot, he wanted out

It should also be noted that a lot of the anti-priskin feeling arose as it was felt Rhodes has been sold to allow him to come in

Maybe a bit but I think it was more to do with him being stroppy, lazy, caught offside every 5 minutes and not able to put the ball in the net.

To be fair as has been said he showed a lot of potential when he first joined and did some good work, it was more 10 games in or so where he started to become excessively lazy and disillusioned. The constant offsides particularly grated.

My memory of Priskin was exactly that - stroppy, lazy, offside with a modicum of skill. Not the best player to represent the club and best forgotten apart from the Arsenal goal.
