I think you are wrong, but can also see your view on certain aspects of his game, however I think it's more about lack of availability in front of him rather than a Caroll type turn back and face his own goal.
There is however a point you raise in regards to Edmundson and that I don't know the answer for. His performances since being on the left of the 3 haven't been great at all compared to when he was 1 of 2 cbs, almost to the point that Wolfenden has become more reliable. It can't however help having different wingbacks to work with and so far we've yet to see a wingback who actually shows they can defend. |  |

Think we may need some defenders in the summer. Edmundson can't seem to play in a 3 and woolfenden and donacien can't play in a 2. | |

Not sure we can take it as read that Woolfenden struggles last season were about 2-at-the-back rather than 3. Think it was more about his form, bad partnerships and the team as a whole. |  |
