This is true...........but I (personally) don't think he is acting. and then now he has apologised for it which pretty much means it was real.

Got dropped from a Pirates of the Caribbean film and that Harry Potter Fantastic beasts, so yeah he probably has suffered as i suspect that's cost him a lot of money and roles. And he's never won an Oscar 40 minutes after hitting someone on stage in front of a live audience, infact he's never won an Oscar! |
He's the star of Louis XV, a movie, currently in pre-production and is currently filming a TV mini-series. Before that he was the star of Minamata, rated 7.5 on IMDB. Before that Waiting for the Barbarians. These are all less than 4 years ago. That was just the first actor off the top of my head. Mark Wahlberg has been in trouble for racist stuff but still enjoys a successful acting career. There are plenty of others I can't be bothered to go into - all have done much worse than slapping someone.

Chris Brown and R Kelly still have careers and they are literal abusers. [Post edited 29 Mar 2022 12:17]

R Kelly still has a career? You might want to check up on that one…!

Depo got dragged through a very muddy and nasty abuse case involving a woman too. To compare that with the Oscars and a slap for an arguably deserved remark is a stretch.

Minamata he was a producer of the film and the roles you are referencing are hardly huge tentpole roles either are they. Anyway, i never said that Will Smith wouldn't get roles again just that i think his career will take a hit in terms of roles offered to him. I could be completely wrong of course and his career will go from strength to strength!

I had a feeling you would say the roles aren't big enough! Anyway, we shall see on Will Smith.

Well, this never hurt Eric Morecambe's career, in fact, I think it probably enhanced it......
