I can see Jackson being retained, Piggot given another change or let go, if let go another League One proven striker, then a Premier League youth loan... or one of our youth strikers being given a pathway...
So three players vying for the loan striker or one of the number 10 slots
THEN ALSO a marquee senior striker with Premier League pedigree? an Ashley Barnes? Charlie Austin? Billy Sharp? hell Danny Ings from Villa who's been let go...
That American planning meeting is all about getting the BIG BUCKS ready... wibble wibble

But he’s bound to go to a rival and be amazing. Will Keane mk2.

Exactly. He’s never had a proper run in the side and we haven’t played to his strengths. If we were not intending to do either we should have never have signed him (it’s not as if he was a regular under Cook and McKenna dropped him).
There’s clearly a goal scorer there but we haven’t utilised him properly at all.

Not fishing, EITR really believes it...
The fact he’s not been banned a hundred times over suggests that
a) Phil is satisfied he’s not Norwich b) Phil is satisfied he’s not a very committed troll
Which means that sadly Elephant is a Town fan with a more pessimistic look on life than a bloke on death row who has just finished his last mouthful and genuinely believes we are at the start of the club being wound down.
God knows what he’d have made of the large parts of the Evans era if he’s so down on Gamechanger, the commitment to promotion, the investment, the stadium improvements, open communication, fans forum and attractive football.

No offence but you have no idea who that poster is. He’s a board ledge and has been for 20 years, and a proper Ipswich fan.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

He started the season in the team, was poor and was replaced by Bonne, every time he's played since then he's been poor. He doesn't seem to have the athletic profile to suit a McKenna team either.
If Tyreece Simpson had had as many chances as he has had recently and been as poor no one would want him to start - Pigott basically hasn't scored a league goal in open play this season in 20 odd games

The "proper run" stuff on Pigott bugs me. If you're coming back from injury you might need a run of games to get going. If you're a kid you might need a run of games to get up to the speed of adult football.
If you're 28, have 349 career appearances and have been fully fit since pre-season you have to show up when called on.

Going fishing again? Hoping to catch a biggun?
Ahem - Ashton saw fit to dismember a squad which reached a higher point in the table than the current bunch, releasing amongst others one of the championships most highly regarded midfielders and one of this divisions top scorers I suspect none of this was in the PowerPoint presentation promising Schwarz east money.
Yes there is a feel good factor and belief that a turning point has been reached. Just like this time last year. Right back to the delirium on here when Lambo fast forwarded the club into the 3rd division.
I’m sure the PR will be all sweetness and light - but the meetings with American ´investors’ seeing progress only in theory and at vast expense will be somewhat hostile

Your post says: "I think you’ll find that the meeting in Phoenix is two groups of parasites trying to justify to each other quite why things went wrong to such a spectacular degree. Ashton and O’Leary are skating on fairly thin ice with the three pretend owners. Then, the group have to agree a story - not unlike Johnson and his cabinet as to why they just have to carry on getting the big decisions right."
So, you think that not only the owners, but also the management team are parasites? That the owners are pretend? and you call yourself a Town fan? What do you want, do you think we were better off with Evans? Clearly as we are no higher in the league you seem to think that is the case.
You're completely deluded. I've been around a very long time and seen many false dawns and had many "oh gawd, not again" moments. But you need to wake up because there has been a sea change in the way we play. And listen to what Ashton and GC20 said at the beginning - it's a long term project. They didn't appoint Cook, they appointed McKenna.
Almost all genuine Town fans, me included, are more hopeful now for next season than we have been in 20 odd years. If I'm wrong, come on here next season and crow about it. But until then, keep your pathetic negativity to yourself, and don't hide behind a username that you think justifies something.
