I agree. It is a sabre-rattling empty threat. However, he (or some of his more mad troops) could easily sabotage a nuclear site. Given how little effect Chernobyl had on Russia, I can see them do it and try to blame Ukraine for it. | |

100k+ have likely died. It could be much greater when we find out the true death toll of Russia's attacks on Mariupol.
No one else needs to die though. However until Russia leaves, either willingly or through force, there will continue to be atrocities and mass graves popping up in occupied Ukranian cities. A ceasefire on current lines is a death sentence for thousands caught in Vladolf's (I like that moniker for him!) I am no longer replying to the Putin supporter so let him do his worst.
I will point out that any further deaths could be immediately stopped by Putin withdrawing his forces from Ukraine. He will not be doing that of course because he does not care about Russian lives let alone Ukrainian ones.
