Didn't want to risk saying "it's going to be a T20 now isn't it" at tea, as I feared the worst!
Was cheering every boundary as I was planting out my runner beans, my (non cricketing) neighbour must have been glad when it was over.
Stokes is gonna be OK, he said in post-match interview that he had the cartilege removed in an op a few years ago & sometimes it now just tightens up for about 20 mins or so, he'd already recovered by the time of the interview 👠|  |
