Missed an LBW against Mitchell too, England declined to review but it would have been given (probably the right decision if they weren't sure).
Been a good day so far. NZ aren't quite as sharp as a year ago but England look a changed team from last Summer. [Post edited 23 Jun 2022 15:49]

I went today. Great day's cricket, as usual in this series we're on Top until Mitchell and Blundell get together. I was right in the front row nearest the pitch at long on from Kirskstall lane end right at the end of the row so I had loads of legroom and a perimeter barrier in front I could put my feet up on, it was like sitting in a deckchair, with nobody coming past me. Perfect in that sense. |  |

Incredible partnership based on how we were looking when Foakes went, we were in deep trouble. Bairstow looks supreme at the crease and full of confidence, Overton has batted superbly as well. He’s had a very good Test debut. Certainly didn’t see this coming. | |
